The National Stone, Sand, and Gravel Association is ready to rock Music City from March 29-31 as they host the AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo in downtown Nashville. As in previous years, AGG1 has partnered with World of Asphalt to deliver the year’s biggest double bill encompassing all things aggregates and asphalt.
From insightful and in-depth educational sessions to exhibits showcasing the industries’ latest groundbreaking technologies, products, and services to the largest social and networking event for those who know how to rock—here’s your comprehensive guide to making the most of the big bash in Nashville!
Learn something new at AGG1 Academy
It’s said that we learn something new every day. AGG1 Academy offers you a great opportunity to binge learn over the course of three days spread across four tracks all under one roof:
- Operations & Production—From blasting and dredging to crushing and screening, this track covers it all. Catch Martin Engineering’s own Jerad Heitzler speak about preventing conveyor belt mistracking on Wednesday at 10:00 am.
- Safety & Health—Learn when MSHA can stop work on a site and how training and development may be the best tactic to improve safety.
- Business & People Management—Team building, culture, financials, and community relations are amongst the topics that will be covered. Martin’s Jerad Heitzler will be on stage again at 2:00 pm on Wednesday to speak about leadership and listening.
- Environment & Sustainability—Learn how to produce sand without using water, how new technologies are making dredging intelligent, and much more.

Swing by the Martin booth and share your conveyor system and material flow challenges and we’ll offer our insight, a few helpful suggestions, and maybe even a bit of premium swag while enjoying a beer or two.
