A food (pickles to be exact) products company found themselves in a real pickle (see what I did there?!) with their vibratory motors. The company's feeder system, reliant on effective vibration to keep materials moving, was causing trouble. Despite their efforts to fix the issue with help from a local electric motor repair shop, the repairs proved to be unreliable, leading to frequent and frustrating motor failures.
Enter the new maintenance supervisor, who recently joined the plant following the closure of his previous employer. At his previous job, he had teamed up with our vibration group to solve similar issues. Recognizing a familiar recipe for success, he decided to call Martin Engineering once more for a solution.
We were able to quickly provide a solution by replacing the problematic European-manufactured electric vibrators with our MM Series Electric Vibrators.
The results? Simply dill-icious! The customer reported “just wanted to give you an update on the motors we ordered. They run great, quietly, and the Operations department is very happy. I’ll be ordering another two as spares in the next few weeks.”
